Michele Bayno earned her degree from McGill University and completed her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with honors in 2000. She has over 20 years working experience in both the public and private sector. She also has extensive experience working in a hospital, and a CLSC. Much of her experience comes from working with the elderly population and the issues that surround them. She has also gained valuable experience from the following: working with families that are in crisis, working in hospital Emergency Rooms, surgical units, special needs population, maternity wards, and geriatric units. She has also worked with individuals and their family members touched by alcohol and drug abuse, child abuse, and domestic violence. Over the years, she has gained valuable working experience in several different areas.
Her team of qualified social workers are available for home visits and assessments, and they are trained to support clients and their family members during difficult situations. Her team has a flexible working schedule and are available days, evenings, and weekends. They also have extensive experience completing the Psychosocial reports required for the homologation of the mandate. They also work closely with notaries, lawyers, and other professionals that are in the health care sector. Their approach to assisting clients and their family members is a multidisciplinary approach.
